It is committed to publishing peer-reviewed, original articles related to the science of pathology in its broadest sense, including anatomical pathology, chemical pathology and biochemistry, cytopathology, forensic pathology and morbid anatomy, genetics, haematology, immunology and immunopathology, microbiology and molecular pathology.

The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia is the leading organisation representing Pathologists and Senior Scientists in Australasia. Its mission is to train and support pathologists and to improve the use of pathology testing to achieve better healthcare.

      

Editor-in-Chief of Pathology

Professor Richard Scolyer was appointed as Editor-in-Chief in March 2022. He is a pathologist affiliated with the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, the Melanoma Institute Australia, and the University of Sydney. 

Pathology Article of the Year Award

Article of the Year Award

The Pathology Article of the Year Award is designed to encourage submission of articles to Pathology and recognise Fellows, Fellows of Faculties, or Trainees of the College who support the journal by submitting their research for publication. It will be awarded annually, beginning with the 50th anniversary of the journal in 2018.
